I'm Gary Bryant, on the left here of Elora Tours, with sidekick Al Koop, and we're super excited to share the incredible stories and history of Elora and Fergus, Ontario, with you. So, what do we offer? Well, buckle up because it's going to be a blast.
First off, I've got a Step-on guide service for coach tours. Yep, that means I hop on your tour coach and describe and show your group all the awesome sights of Elora and Fergus, Ontario. It's wise to book your group ahead in loads of time. Give me a call at 519 8465567 to reserve a date.
If a walking tour is more your club's thing, no worries. Discover the charm of Elora or Fergus on foot with your group by booking in advance.. Also, if you're not part of a group, we team up with Elora-Fergus Tourism, and together, we put on a bunch of fun historical and lantern walking tours every year . These are scheduled, so you have to check with Elora-Fergus Tourism to get the lowdown. (519 8469691 X 382)
Also, in this year of 2025, either Al or I will be leading a walk each Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm. in April, May, and June from the Elora Mill Inn. If you're not a guest of the Mill, you can still join us, although there is a fee and you must register in advance by emailing info@eloramill.ca
Now, if you're into a bit of mystery and adventure and you're not part of a huge group, you'll love our scheduled Walking Tours. These are organized in partnership with Elora-Fergus Tourism and The Bookery, including the entertaining Fergus Ghost Walks. Spooky fun, right? Sometimes, Also, The Elora Mill Inn can book our services in advance for Mill guests.
But wait, there's more. I also collaborate with Debb Greer of The Bookery, a cool specialty shop in Fergus. Plus, I'm tight with local historian Al Koop. He's a walking encyclopedia of local history. And guess what? Most of our walking tours have both of us leading, dressed up in costume to really bring the past to life.
Speaking of costumes, get ready for some role-play. Throughout our walks, we portray real characters from our area's past. Al's the history whiz, and me? Well, I bring the drama as an actor. Be prepared for Al and I to break out in song and verse to add to the flavour of our past!
